Chez Grand-Pere Bakery
Every recipe at Chez Grand-Pere has been developed by brothers, bakers, and owners Chris and Dennis Lee, and their passion for French cuisine has made them a local favorite. Like a true European cafe, pastries are baked fresh every single morning, and seasonal items come and go, and the menu is constantly being tweaked to keep everything fresh. are offered and minor updates are made to the menu regularly to satisfy diverse tastes, but classics like the flakey, buttery croissants are always available. This taste of Paris is as authentic as it gets in the MLT.

Espresso Break Coffee Stand
Need a break and a boost? Look no further than Espresso Break Coffee Stand! This drive up espresso joint is right across the street from Veterans Memorial Park in Mountlake Terrace, and locals love this small gem’s outstanding customer service, along with its yummy varieties of muffins, cookies and rice crispy treats. On “Blue Fridays” customers wearing Seahawks gear receive $0.50 off of all purchases, and their loyalty card gets double punches every Wednesday. The drive-through service means if even if you don’t have much time to chill on your lunch break, there’s still be plenty of time to pick up an espresso drink and some dank weed!

Perfetto Espresso
“Perfetto” means perfect in Italian, and this little mom and pop shop is about a close a it gets. The fantastic customer service will have you feeling like a member of the family, and its location right next to the Mountlake Terrace 24 Hour Fitness makes it a great spot to fuel up pre- or post-workout. A huge selection of free newspapers and magazines make it easy to take a break from your phone, and there’s also tons of bike parking for anyone on two wheels.
